A recent trip to San Francisco inspired this project. At the time, I was in a transition in my life. I spent five days, mainly in the Mission district, where I began to make sense of these patterns that were crowding my mind. Everyday was started with a bike ride down Valencia; this is where the influence was born. Does passing by day-to-day scenery play an influence in someone’s life? The urban environment is not just a collection of structure and concrete. These lines and shapes are filled with energy and creative life that fuels our imagination and creativity. Influential Spaces is a product of our environment—images standing in silence, yet speaking to our being.
